If you are a Business Owner looking to set up affiliates, please read the guide here.
π₯ Quick Summary
You can earn money by recommending your favorite Nas.io communities and products to others.
Simple: Share your unique affiliate link.
Automated: If someone buys using your link, you earn a percentage of the sale.
Transparent: Track every click and sale in your dashboard.
π How to Become an Affiliate & Get Links
Not all businesses offer affiliate programs. It is up to the business owner to enable it.
How to find your link:
Go to the Community Home page.
Look for the "Affiliate" or "Refer & Earn" tab/button.
If you don't see it, the business may not have enabled affiliates.
Click to generate your Unique Affiliate Link.
Copy and share this link on social media, WhatsApp, or email.
π° How Commissions Work
The amount you earn depends on the settings chosen by the business owner.
1. Commission Rates
You will see the commission percentage (e.g., "Earn 20%") listed next to the product link.
Example: If a course costs $100 and the commission is 20%, you earn $20.
2. Recurring Subscriptions
If you refer a member to a monthly/yearly membership:
Standard Rule: Check the terms displayed. Often, you earn a commission on the first payment only, but some businesses may offer recurring commissions for every renewal.
One-Time Products: You earn a one-time commission immediately upon purchase.
3. Attribution
When someone clicks your link, a digital "cookie" is saved on their device.
What this means: Even if they don't buy immediately, if they come back and purchase within the cookie window (typically 30 days), you still get credit for the sale.
π Tips: How to Maximize Earnings (Without Spamming)
Successful affiliates don't just paste links; they create value. Here are the best ways to increase your clicks and sales:
1. Add Context (The "Bridge") π
Don't just paste a raw link. Share why it matters.
Instead of: "Join this group: [Link]"
Try: "I learned [Skill] in [Community]. If you want to master this too, join us here: [Link]"
2. Solve Specific Problems π§©
Look for people asking questions (e.g., "How do I start coding?"). Offer a helpful tip first, then share your link as the resource where you learned it. Be helpful, not salesy.
3. Make It Easy to Find π
Don't make people hunt for it. Add the link to your bio (Linktree, Twitter, Instagram) or pin a post to your profile to capture passive clicks.
4. Be Transparent π€
Trust builds revenue. Always disclose your link: "I love this community and I'm an affiliate." People are more likely to support you when you are honest.
5. Know Your Audience π―
Relevance > Reach. Don't sell fitness gear to a coding group. Only recommend what your audience actually needs.
π Tracking Your Earnings
You can see real-time data on how your links are performing.
Where to look: Go to Settings β Affiliates (or the specific Community Affiliate Dashboard).
You will see:
Conversions: How many actually bought.
Pending Earnings: Commission from recent sales (held briefly for safety).
Payable Earnings: Money ready to be paid out to you.
π¦ Payouts: When & How You Get Paid
How do I get my money?
You must link a valid Bank Account or Payout Method (e.g., PayPal - depending on your region) in your Affiliate Settings.
A minimum payout threshold of $10 USD (or the equivalent amount in your local currency) is required to receive earnings. If your total earnings do not meet this minimum in a given payout cycle, the balance will be automatically carried over to the next cycle until the threshold is reached.
Note: Payouts are subject to Nas.io fees (varies per country), which are deducted from your earnings. Learn more about our fee structure here.
π Restrictions & Refunds
π« Who CANNOT be an affiliate?
Self-Referrals: You cannot use your own affiliate link to buy a product for yourself. These commissions will be flagged and rejected.
Restricted Regions: Users in certain sanctioned countries may be unable to receive payouts due to banking regulations.
π What happens if the buyer requests a refund?
If a customer you referred asks for a refund (and the business owner grants it):
The sale is reversed.
Your commission for that sale is deducted from your balance.
If you have already been paid out, your affiliate balance may go negative to cover the debt.
