Overview:
We’re thrilled to introduce the Messaging feature on Nas.io! This new tool allows community owners and managers to receive messages directly from their members, providing a streamlined way for members to ask questions or request support. This feature is available by default but can be disabled if necessary.


How to Enable the Messaging Feature for Your Community:

  1. Log in to your Nas.io account.

  2. Go to the Messages Tab.

  3. Click on the gear icon in the top-right corner.

  4. Toggle on the option labeled "Allow members to send messages" to enable the messaging feature.

    • This feature is enabled by default. If you wish to disable it, simply toggle it off.

Once enabled, members will be able to send messages directly to you for inquiries.


How the Messaging Feature Works

  1. Receiving Messages:
    After enabling the feature, you’ll see the "Messages" tab in your dashboard on both web and mobile. This is where you’ll receive messages from your community members.

    • On Web: The "Messages" tab will appear on your dashboard.

    • On Mobile: The "Messages" tab will be available within the mobile app.

  2. Forwarding Messages to Nas.io Support:
    If you receive a message that needs technical support you can forward these messages to Nas.io Support for further assistance, you can easily do so from the platform.

    • To forward a message, click the "Send to Nas.io team" option within the message.

    • Select the messages you want to forward to Nas.io Support and click Send to Nas.io Team.

    • You will receive confirmation that the message has been successfully sent to Nas.io Support.

  3. Managing Member Inquiries:
    Once forwarded, Nas.io Support will handle the inquiry and respond to the member directly via email. This allows you to focus on managing your community while ensuring that issues are addressed promptly by the Nas.io Support Team.
