General walkthrough here

In this page:

What is Magic Ads?

Magic Ads is Nas.io’s built-in advertising tool that connects directly to Meta (Facebook and Instagram) so you can run ads without touching complicated tools like Ads Manager. It helps you easily create your ad so you can focus on your product while the ads bring in new customers.

Why leads matter in online business?

In the digital world, everything starts with a lead. A lead is someone who shares their contact details (like an email address) or signs up for something free because they’re genuinely interested in what you’re offering.

Leads matter because:

  • They’re often cheaper to acquire than direct buyers.

  • They give you a chance to build a relationship before asking for a sale.

  • They help you prove credibility and showcase value in a crowded market.

It’s tough to sell a paid product straight away. Most people want to know you’re trustworthy and that what you offer is truly valuable. There are plenty of low-quality products online, so you need to stand out by building trust. Leads are the bridge between curiosity and conversion.

That’s why Magic Ads is designed specifically to help you find leads, the most powerful first step in building a sustainable business.

How Magic Ads work?

With Magic Ads, you don’t need to be a marketing expert. Here’s what happens behind the scenes:

  1. You connect your product or event.

  2. Magic Ads generates your copy, creative, and targeting strategy.

  3. It runs your campaign directly on Meta’s powerful ad network.

  4. Meta’s algorithm then tests your ad assets and shows the best-performing ones to the right people.

No guesswork. No complicated dashboards. Just clear, effective ads designed to grow your audience.

When to use Magic Ads

Here are a few ways creators are already putting Magic Ads to work:

  • You want to run an online event for new moms and need to reach US-based moms to sign up.

  • You’ve created a PDF guide for professionals to improve their presentation skills and want to target working professionals in the UK.

  • You’ve built a free 7-day “Summer Body Challenge” and want to find women who are ready to take action.

Magic Ads will help you find the right people in all of these cases, and many more.

Example Ads You Can Copy

Here are some starter ads you can take inspiration from.

How to review your Magic Ads performance

Once your campaign is live, you can track results directly inside the Magic Ads dashboard. The dashboard shows you key metrics like:

  • Impressions: How many times your ad was shown.

  • Page Visits: How many people clicked through to your page.

  • Leads: How many people signed up or shared their details.

  • Cost per Lead: How much you’re paying, on average, for each new lead.

Below these overall numbers, you’ll also see performance broken down per ad, including how many leads each creative brought in and the cost per lead. This helps you quickly spot which ad is winning and which ones aren’t pulling their weight.

Note: The performance data for Magic Ads from Meta may take some time to update on the Nas.io dashboard, so it won’t always appear in real time.

How to get the best results on Magic Ads

The key to success with Magic Ads is having strong creative. This is what Meta’s algorithm uses to decide who should see your ads.

Here’s how to maximize performance:

  • Start with images. If you’re new, images are faster and easier to test than video.

  • Speak directly to your customer. If your product is for first-time moms, make sure both the image and copy clearly address them.

  • Be simple and clear. At a glance, someone should know what your ad is about and why they should click.

  • Focus on the click. The goal of the ad is not to tell the whole story, it’s to get people to click and visit your product page.

Pro tips:

  • Begin by running ads to free products or offers. Leads are cheaper and easier to convert later. Once you have leads, use Magic Reach to follow up via email and nurture them into paying customers.

  • If results aren’t encouraging, don’t panic. Wait at least 48 hours before judging performance, Meta’s algorithm needs time to learn.

  • If needed, pause your campaign and improve your assets or messaging. Sometimes it takes a few iterations to hit the sweet spot.

  • Never directly edit ads mid-campaign. This resets the algorithm’s learning phase and can hurt your results. Instead, pause and relaunch with updated assets.

How to know if your campaign is working

  • High Page Visits vs. Impressions: If lots of people are clicking through, your creative and message are resonating.

  • Low Cost per Lead: A strong indicator of efficiency. The “right” number depends on your target audience and country.

The best way to know if your cost per lead is good is to compare it with the price of your paid product. For example, if each lead costs $5 and your course is $500, you only need 1 in 100 leads to buy to break even. Everything beyond that is profit.

How to setup an Ad

  1. Create your ad assets. You can use the Nas.io Cofounder or other tools like ChatGPT or Gemini. Here’s a sample prompt you can try to generate ad copy and creative.

  2. Go into Magic Ads and select your product.

  3. Upload your ad assets. We recommend at least 3 versions so Meta can compare and pick the winner.

  4. Update your copy. Make sure it speaks directly to your audience.

  5. Set your budget and country. For best results, run ads for at least 5 days so Meta has time to learn who your ideal customers are.

  6. Connect your Facebook Page. If you don’t have one yet, create one in minutes.

  7. Review cost and launch. Confirm your campaign and you’re live.

After you launch, your ads will go through Meta’s review process to ensure they comply with guidelines. This usually takes 24–48 hours. Magic Ads reviews go through a comprehensive two-step process.

  1. First, Nas.io performs an internal review to ensure your campaign adheres to its platform guidelines, typically completed within 24-48 hours.

  2. After passing this, Meta conducts an external review, which also takes approximately 24-48 hours, depending on their system load. Your campaign will automatically go live once both reviews are approved.
