How Do I See My Payments and Payouts?
Updated over a month ago

We offer a number of options to monetize your community through events, subscription fees, and (coming soon!) brand sponsorships and ecommerce.

This article explains how you can find your payments and payouts.

Please note that you can only receive payouts if you created the community (also known as the Primary Community Manager). Managers added later will not be able to access payment information.

[NEW] Transaction list on Money tab

If your community is generating revenue, you can now find all transactions (all time), including Events/Library/Membership purchases right from the new Money tab, which can be located in the left navigation tab.

In this article:

Connect Your Bank Account

The first thing you need to do is link your bank account with Nas.io.

❗Please note that you should be the community creator/owner to be able to set up bank account details (your email should be registered as the one created the community or the owner of the community)

Should you wish for other admin in the community to set this up, they would need to be assigned as the community creator/owner. You may request for them to be owner by contacting us via hello@nas.io.

Go to Money tab (left navigation tab) > Payout and select "Set up now".

Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your bank account.

Find Your Payments

You can see your payments under Earnings in the Money tab. Once your community starts earning, the following information will update accordingly.

Find Your Payouts

Once you've submitted your bank details, you'll start receiving your payouts on a monthly basis if you have reached the minimum threshold of $10 USD.

You can view how much you've earned that month by checking it in the Money section under Payout tab

By the end of the month, Nas.io finance team will be processing your payout within 7 working days once the new month started.

Once your payout has been processed by our finance team, you will receive the funds to your account within 1 - 5 working days, depending on your bank's clearing time.

If you have not reached 10 USD, your earnings will be carried over to the next month until you reach the 10 USD threshold.

For any discrepancies in your payout, please email finance@nas.io and/or your account manager.

FAQs

How often will I get my payout?

Nas.io process payouts on a monthly basis. Payouts are typically processed within 7 working days after the month has concluded. Once processed, the funds can take up to 1-5 days to appear in your bank account.

Why didn't I get my payout when I earned money last month?

Some common reasons are:

1) Bank account details have not been provided. Please ensure you update your bank account details on your money>payout>bank details page.

2) Bank account details are incorrect. This results in payouts being bounced back by our banking partners. Please check your account details to ensure they are correct.

3) Banking partners require more information to process the payout. This is especially common if your account is receiving funds for the first time outside your country or from a new sender. Certain countries' banking regulations may also require more information than we have collected on the bank details page.

Please note that banking partners take between 3-10 business days between communication to request more information and complete the transaction, so we thank you for your patience. We will reach out to you via email to request more information if required.

4) The net amount earned is below the payout threshold of USD 10 (or in your equivalent local currency) For India-based communities: It's important to note that if you are receiving funds from Stripe India, you must individually meet the payout threshold of USD 10 as well.

Please be aware that we do not aggregate the threshold; each source (Stripe Global and Stripe India) must meet the minimum payout requirement separately.

What will be the currency of my payout?

The currency of the payout you will receive depends on your preference. When filling out the payout page, you can choose to receive your payout in your local currency or in USD (United States Dollars).

This may be subjected to review by our finance team if it is possible to send payments in your local currency. We will reach out to you via email should we encounter any issues.

It's important to note that if you choose to receive your payout in your local currency, there may be foreign exchange rates applied at the time your payout is processed. These exchange rates are determined by financial markets and may affect the final amount you receive in your local currency. It's a good idea to consider these factors when making your choice to ensure you receive your payout in the currency that best suits your needs.

How do I receive my payout through crypto?

We usually process payout for communities via wire transfers.

Should you wish to receive your payout using Crypto instead of a traditional wire/bank transfer, kindly send your request to finance@nas.io along with the following information:

Community link:

Email address: (your email login for Nas.io account)

Crypto Wallet Address:

Kindly ensure to send this information 7 days before the month's end so our Finance team can process your request before we release payouts for communities.

I need an invoice for tax purposes. Where can I obtain the invoice?

We appreciate your request for a tax invoice. However, as a company based in Singapore, we adhere strictly to the tax regulations and legal requirements of our jurisdiction.

Consequently, we are unable to issue invoices that fall outside the scope of our tax obligations. We understand the importance of accurate record-keeping for tax purposes and encourage you to consult local tax authorities for guidance on reporting your transactions.

If you have any other inquiries or need assistance with different aspects of our services, please feel free to reach out. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I receive my payout through my Paypal Account? My bank account cannot receive international payments.

By default, our current payout method is limited to wire transfers exclusively.

If your bank account is unable to receive international payments, we recommend contacting your respective bank for assistance.

Feel free to reach out to our Finance team via email at Finance@nas.io. We are more than willing to explore potential solutions or alternative methods to address your payment requirements.

I have multiple communities. Is it necessary to provide separate bank accounts for each community, or can I use the same bank account for all of them?

You can use the same bank account for all your communities; there is no requirement for separate accounts. However, it is crucial to ensure that the provided bank account details are accurate and up-to-date for seamless transactions across all your communities. Please make sure to include the bank details for all your communities to facilitate efficient transactions.

I set up my bank account details. Can you confirm that no additional details are pending on my end?

Kindly double-check that all the information is correct to avoid any issues with future payouts. Once you have reached the minimum net earnings of $10 USD (after fees and taxes), our finance team will reach out to you if they need any additional information to process the payout.

You may also edit it through the 3 dots on the right side of the bank details section of the page.

For further assistance related to your payouts, feel free to reach out to our finance team at finance@nas.io.
