🔥 Quick Summary
Some LATAM countries allow members to pay in installments (monthly payments). Installments are handled by local banks and payment providers, not by Nas.io.
Nas.io does not control installment fees, approval, or duration. These depend on the member’s country, card, and issuing bank.
⭐ What Are Installment Payments?
Installments let members split a purchase into monthly payments instead of paying all at once.
Example:
$300 course → paid as 3 or 6 monthly payments (if supported by the member’s bank).
🌎 Where Are Installments Available in LATAM?
Installments are supported only in selected LATAM countries, available ONLY for one-time purchases (events, courses, digital products).
Common examples:
Country | Installment Options |
Brazil | Credit card installments (up to 12 months) |
Mexico | Credit card installments (up to 12 months) |
Colombia | Credit card installments (up to 36 months) |
Chile | Credit card installments (up to 48 months) |
Availability depends on:
The member’s country
The card issuer
The bank’s rules
💸 Are There Extra Fees for Installments?
Yes, but not from Nas.io. Installment fees are usually set by banks or payment providers and could include interest or processing fees. These fees are normally shown to the member at checkout.
If you are a Nas.io business owner, you receive the payment minus the standard gateway fee. Any extra fees by the bank does not affect your transaction.
Example scenario:
What the Customer Pays
$1,000 → your product/service
$60 → installment interest/fee charged by their bank
Total charged to customer: $1,060
The extra $60 goes to the bank, not to Nas.io and not to you.
What You Receive
Gross sale amount: $1,000
Standard gateway fee (example 4.9%):
$49
Net payout to you: $951
🧾 Do Installments Change My Earnings or Payout Timing?
No. Installments do not change how much you earn or when you get paid. Installments are handled entirely between the member and their bank. They do not affect your earnings, payout timing, or reporting inside Nas.io.
Even if a member pays in installments, Nas.io processes your payout normally, based on your region’s payout cycle.
You still earn the full product price (minus standard gateway fees).
Your payout schedule does not change.
You do not wait for each installment to be paid month by month.
🙍 Member Experience (What Members See)
If installments are available:
Members see installment options at checkout
They choose how many months to pay
They confirm with their bank/card provider
If installments are NOT supported, the option simply does not appear
📝 In Summary
Installments in LATAM are optional, country-specific, and handled entirely by local banks.
Nas.io does not charge extra installment fees or control approval.
Business owners are paid normally, and installment choices do not affect payouts or fees.
