🔥 Quick Summary

Nas.io uses a transparent, per-transaction fee structure for Pro and Platinum businesses. Each paid transaction includes a Nas.io platform fee and a payment gateway fee, both applied automatically at checkout.

These fees apply to all paid products on Nas.io, including memberships, challenges, events, courses, upsells, and 1:1 sessions.

Payments are processed through global payment partners like Stripe, and all fee details are visible in your dashboard.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. Q: What are the transaction fees for Pro and Platinum?
A: Transaction fees depend on your plan and country. Pro businesses are charged a platform fee starting at 2.9%, while Platinum businesses are charged a lower 1% platform fee. Payment gateway fees are added separately and vary by country and payment method.

  2. Q: Which fees apply if my customers are in different countries?
A: Fees are based on your business account’s country and currency, not your customer’s location.

👉 Rule of thumb: Your business location decides the fees, not your customer’s location.

    For example:
If your business is set up as UK / International, International fees apply — even when selling to customers in the US or Asia.

  3. Q: If I upgrade, do my new fees apply to old sales?
A: No. New fees only apply to sales made after you upgrade. Fees on sales from the previous plan stay the same.

  4. Q: What does pass on fees mean?
A:"Passing on fees" adds the transaction cost to the member's total at checkout, similar to platforms like Airbnb. This ensures you receive 100% of your listed price, rather than having processing fees deducted from your earnings.

  5. Q: Why would I want to pass fees on to my members?
A: It guarantees you receive exactly what you charge. If you price a membership at $50, passing on fees means you receive the full $50 into your account, rather than having transaction costs deducted from your revenue.

  6. Q. Do fees apply to free products?
A: No. Fees only apply to paid transactions.

  7. Q. Can I pass fees on to my customers instead of paying them myself?
A: Yes! You can toggle “Pass Processing Fees to Members” in your Nas.io dashboard so customers cover the gateway fee.

  8. Q: If I pass fees to members, what fees are added at checkout?
A: Only the payment gateway fees (Stripe, Xendit, Razorpay, etc.) are added. Nas.io’s platform fee is not passed on and is deducted as usual.

  9. Q: Can I turn the fee-passing option off later?
A: Yes. You can enable or disable “Pass Processing Fees to Members” anytime from Settings → Payment & Fees.

Note that this change will only be applicable to succeeding transactions and will not affect the transactions prior to the change.
