❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. Q: What are the transaction fees for Pro and Platinum?
A: Transaction fees depend on your plan and country. Pro businesses are charged a platform fee starting at 2.9%, while Platinum businesses are charged a lower 1% platform fee. Payment gateway fees are added separately and vary by country and payment method.

  2. Q: Which fees apply if my customers are in different countries?
A: Fees are based on your business account’s country and currency, not your customer’s location.

👉 Rule of thumb: Your business location decides the fees, not your customer’s location.

    For example:
If your business is set up as US (USD), US fees apply — even if a customer pays from the Philippines or another country.

  3. Q: Will my customer pay foreign exchange (FX) fees if they’re not in the US?
A: Yes. If your Nas.io business is set up as a US account (USD) and a customer pays from another country, their bank or card provider may charge them a foreign exchange (FX) fee. This fee is set by the customer’s bank or card issuer (not by Nas.io) and is paid by the customer, not you. Here’s a quick guide about foreign exchange fees.

  4. Q. Are US fees the same as global fees?
    A. No. The US uses Stripe US with consistent pricing, while global regions use different processors and taxes.

  5. Q. Do discounted fees apply to past transactions?
    A. No. They apply only moving forward after upgrading.

  6. Q. Can I pass fees to customers?
    A. Yes—toggle it in Settings → Payment & Fees.

  7. Q. Do fees apply to free products?
    A. No. Only paid products incur fees.

  8. Q. Will gateway fees change if I switch plans?
    A. No. Gateway fees depend on third-party payment platforms , not your Nas.io plan.
