This article will show you a step-by-step guide on how to create your own Course Library for your community under Products tab.

How to Create a New Course/Content

  1. Go to your Community Manager portal and select the Product tab from the left menu.

  2. Click "Add New Product". You may also select an available template that is aligned with the course/program you are offering.

  3. Fill in the details of your Course/Content and upload a cover image.

    • Give it a cool name

    • Add a detailed description of your product.

      • Consider using Emojis, bullet points

      • Add feedback from previous students (if you have)

      • Talk about what the member will learn

    • Add a description cover image

    • Define the Price for the Course / Content

      • Keep it Free if you want to use it as a lead magnet for your free community

      • Price it if you want to sell it and build a business ๐Ÿ’ฐ

  4. Click Create.

Your course is now saved as a draft. You can navigate away from this page without losing your course, but it won't be visible to community members until you publish it.

Creating Sections in the Content Folder for better content delivery

You can add sections to your courses and content. Here is how you can improve your membersโ€™ learning experience:

  • Break your course into topics, such as Introduction, Key topics, Assignments, Closing topic; or however you want.

  • Pace your course material by defining it in days or weeks. Students learn better when the course is properly paced.

  • Or just break it down into modules so that your students can decide better, such as Module 1, Module 2...

You have the option to upload more content at this point, or you can publish the files to your course so they're visible to your community.

Don't worry, you can come back and upload additional files later!

How to Add Sections for your courses/products

  • Once you have created a course/content in the product tab, it will be in drafts as you will need to upload files first before you can publish it. We highly recommend for you to plan as to which sections you would like to add your files for a seamless uploads of your contents.

  • Click on + Add

  • Select Add section

  • Fill in the details for your section:

    • Name (Name your section E.g Introduction, Bonus content, etc)

    • Description (This is optional but you can type in the description for the section you are creating so your members can have an idea about what the section is for)

  • If you have an existing files uploaded outside the sections you created, you may drag them inside the relevant sections to organise them

  • Once done, you can now continue uploading your files or add links to the relevant sections you have created.

How to Add Content Using Files

Your next step is to add content. You can either Drag and drop or upload files from your computer to add content. We support Videos, PDFs, Images, Audio files, Text files, Zip files, excel files and external links.

When adding any item, you'll have the option of adding a description so your community knows what they're getting and customizing the thumbnail for each item. Filling this out is optional, but recommended.

Once you're happy with your file uploads, hit Publish.

Content Public Page

Each Content Folder will get its own landing page, and you can access it by copying the link from here:

You can use this unique link for your content to drive traffic to your content and community.

Go have a look at your beautifully organised landing page for your page. You will love it.

How do Members access your course?

You can check your Member View by clicking here in the dropdown and going to Member portal

You and your members will now be able to access all your files in the Content tab.

And you're done! If you'd like to add another content folder, go back to your Manager Portal and begin the process again.
