Setting up subscription
You can set up multiple membership plans and prices in the Member access tab.
Choose the Paid plan
Set up as many plans as you want for your community. We support monthly/annual/6-month/3-month plan options.
Set the price in INR
Once saved, your paid membership is set up. Users can subscribe to your communities by Credit/Debit cards or UPI.
We use Stripe India for our payment gateway, which supports Credit/Debit Cards and UPI.

Managing payment
You can review all membership transactions in the Money tab. The transaction will be marked as Membership.

Managing subscription renewal
You can view the list of all subscriptions and their billing cycles in the Members tab.
Click on each row in the table to see the member's subscription record.
We do NOT support Auto-renew for Stripe India (for both Cards and UPI). Therefore, at the end of the payment cycle, your users will be required to manually renew their memberships.
What happens to the user's member status at the end of the cycle?
Members will receive a reminder through notification in the portal and via their emails to renew their membership 10 days before the subscription ends.
An email reminder is also sent out to notify the member that their subscription is about to end soon.
Subject: Just a friendly reminder...
After the subscription cycle ends and if the member has not renewed his/her membership, their membership will be canceled.
Reminders will be sent to members 10 days before subscription ends.
How can my members renew their membership?
In order to renew their membership, user can do so directly in their Members portal by following these steps
On the Member portal, locate the community in their community list, which will be marked as Expired.
User will be asked to renew their membership in order to access the content.
Upon successfully checking out, user can continue his membership and rejoin the community.
Users can now renew their memberships directly from their Member portal without having to go back to the Community landing page and sign up again.
Will there be scheduled reminders to remind users about their membership payment if they miss out the due date?
Yes, we send out 3 Email reminders to users in the next 14 days after their subscription has been canceled.
The first email will be sent 1 day after the subscription cancelation.

The second email will be sent 7 days after the subscription cancelation.
Subject: You’re missing out valuable information.
The last email reminder will be sent 14 days after the subscription cancelation.
Subject: It’s not too late to re-join your community!
Email reminders are sent out to users to remind them about their membership payment.
Cancelation and refund
Members can cancel their subscription any time and their subscription will terminate at the end of the current cycle. They will no longer have access to the community in the next cycle.
We do not support refund on Nas.io in general but we do look at refund request on a case-by-case basis. Check out this article for more details on Membership cancelation.
Removing members
You can cancel any member by clicking on the member record in the Members tab.
Click Remove member to proceed.

Does Nas.io support UPI for subscription and do I need to turn on this payment option?
Does Nas.io support UPI for subscription and do I need to turn on this payment option?
Yes. UPI is automatically supported for all communities created in India. You don't need to configure this option as it is automatically enabled.
Users in and out of India will be able to make payment in INR with UPI.

Yes, Nas.io charges a revenue share of 8% of the amount paid, not including process fees imposed by Stripe and GST.

Stripe, our current payment provider we are working with India to support UPI, does not support auto-renewal functionality for UPI at the moment. Hence, we can only support manual renewal.
We are working with Stripe to improve the experience for membership in the near future and we will continue to give you update.
